First day – 9th August. First half of prep team (Jason, Judy, Jacquie, Grace and Chris G) arrive late afternoon. Boat stripped and provisioned. Met Ian and Trevor who’d arrived from Haven Ports with Skipjack (Ker 11.3)having got a place on the race! Told us they would beat us. That’s as maybe but we got fed at Mary Mouse 2 – the Green Lightship and they didn’t!! Spooky or what?
